Dr. Amy Rader graduated from the Purdue University School of Veterinary Medicine in 2001. She practiced in the Lafayette, IN area for 6 years, then completed an additional 3-year advanced training program in Emergency and Critical Care. She has also taken on the role of maintaining our Cat Friendly Practice status, which maintains a higher standard of care for our feline patients by expanding our knowledge of newer treatment options, and advocating for reduced stress/stress free veterinary visits.
Dr. Rader shares her home with her husband Bruce and 4 cats: Hallie, Browning, Stubbs, and Humane Society for Boone County alum, Ruger. In her free time she enjoys gardening and volunteer activities.
