Dr. Scott Thygesen

Dr. Thygesen is an Indianapolis native who received his Bachelor’s of Science in Behavioral Biology in 2019 from Johns Hopkins University. He worked in pharmaceutical research before finding his true calling in veterinary medicine and graduated with his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Purdue University in 2026. While in veterinary school, Dr. Thygesen developed special interests in soft tissue surgery and animal behavior. He is passionate about making sure that every patient has the most stress-free experience possible during their time with us.

Dr. Thygesen lives here in Zionsville with his wife, daughter, and one more on the way! They have a beagle named Marty, an orange and white cat named Wanye, and a new kitten Pablo. In his free time, Dr. Thygesen enjoys playing basketball, racquet sports, reading, and enjoying time outdoors with his family. As our newest hire, Dr. Thygesen is eager to develop long-term relationships with you and all your four-legged family members.
